News_Editor Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 One killed, two injured in Israeli raid in northern Gaza 2010-10-17 14:19:29 GMT+7 (ICT) JERUSALEM (BNO NEWS) -- The Israel Defense Force (IDF) on Sunday conducted air strikes in northern Gaza, killing one Palestinian and injuring two, Israeli and Palestinian sources said. "Earlier this morning, the IAF targeted and identified hitting a squad of terror operatives who were preparing to fire rockets from the Northern Gaza strip into Israel," the IDF said in a statement. One man was killed and two were injured during the military operation, according to Palestinian reports. One of the injured was reported in critical condition. The IDF said that more than 165 rockets and mortars have been fired at Israeli territory since the beginning of 2010. The IDF said it "remains committed to protecting the citizens of Israel and will continue to act against terror.
