Didn't I read some topic only a few days ago where some dumber high up in this government stated that his staff was very competent at blocking sites that seemed a treath to Thailand Edited October 17, 2010 by basjke
tombkk
Working for me 3BB That means the blocking system is different for the various ISP's ?? tombkk
Yes also blocked on TRUE in BKK. Interesting. My phone is True, and the site is accessible when accessing on "3G". {photyo snipped for brevity} This looks like you took a photograph of your iPhone. Did you know you can create a screenshot by holding the on/off button at the top, and the "back to homescreen" button and the lower center at the same time? The screenshot will appear in your Camera Roll. But back to the topic: Do those who can access the site see anything that, according to Thai law, requires (or even only allows) the ICT Ministry to request ISPs to block it? I am wondering why the site is blocked for some or most of us.

Camelot
One of the MICT censors might have thought it was an online pharmacy selling Tamiflu. These type of bans rarely make it onto every ISP blocking list. Some get skipped.
lomatopo
Roche and the Thai government have been in a bit of struggle re: Tamiflu for a few years. Mostly about licensing and patent protection. I think the Thai government is manufacturing their own Tamiflu, but I haven't stayed up to date on this topic. Perhaps this a reason for partial blocking? FYI, for those traveling to the U.S., seasonal flu shots are available at thousands of Walgreens pharmacies; $25 ~ $30 USD, no appointments needed. I got one last week. I got one last week. If you obtained a seasonal flu shot here in Thailand it is exactly the same this year so no need for an extra Northern Hemisphere version.
