Non-Imm B Wants To Be A Tourist Question

Featured Replies

I am currently in Thailand on a one year non-Immigrant B Visa.

I have done my final border run already, the final 90 day visa taking me through to 1st November.

However, i would like to stay here a further 45 days, until mid-december. (for tourism purposes, so tourist visa ok)

could somebody point me in the right direction as to the easiest way to do this... and cost effectively.

I assume from scanning through this forum that i cannot extend at the immigration bureau in Bangkok, but what i cannot find out is, if i go out the country for a while, say 15 days to cambodia, will i get a 30 day visa when i re-enter the country, or only the 15 day, same as the tourist visa.

Any help most appreciated. Cheers

If entering before your visa expiration date you would get another 90 days. If entering by land without a visa you would get 15 days, 30 days if entering by air.

If you return by land you will get 15 days Visa Exempt entry

If you return by air you will get 30 days Visa exempt entry.

Visit a Thai Consulate abroad and get a Tourist Visa. 60 days and free of charge.
