October 23, 201015 yr Hi, we are planning to visit krabi from singapore via tigerairways.. my boyfriend is holding indian passport and is a PR in singapore. He had to get a visa on arrival when he went to bangkok 3 years ago and it was readily available in bangkok international airport. How about visa on arrival in Krabi?? is it available in krabi airport?? from what i have gathered on the internet, it says visa is available in krabi immigration checkpoint which is not in krabi airport, right?? i have been looking for information in this forum too but what i've found was information from 3 years back so i wonder if the rules have changed? pls shed some light. thanks in advance. =) Edited October 23, 201015 yr by chuppy
October 23, 201015 yr The list of immigration checkpoints issuing the visa on arrival is here: http://www.mfa.go.th/web/2482.php?id=2491. I see Krabi included in that list. The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
October 23, 201015 yr Author The list of immigration checkpoints issuing the visa on arrival is here: http://www.mfa.go.th...82.php?id=2491. I see Krabi included in that list. thanks for ur prompt reply. i have checked thru the mentioned website. it says krabi immigration checkpoint. krabi immigration checkpoint is not in krabi airport. it is at a different location. so i am wondering if visa on arrival can be done in krabi airport itself? for those people who have gone to krabi before requiring Visa on arrival pls advice?? thanks
October 24, 201015 yr A report from about a year ago is that VOA in available at the airport from the same processing group that visits airport for international flights but will be after processing those with visa or visa exempt entry. If the airline allows boarding there must be arrangements for entry in place.
