Congratulation to the Texas Rangers and the San Francisco Giants for making into American MLB World Series. The Rangers advanced by beating the New York Yankees and the Giants by defeating the World Champion Philadelphia Phillis.

Thanks!

From a diehard Giant fan. The Rangers will be tough they knocked off the Yankees after all.

Giant pitching vs Ranger hitting.... I am happy this year no big money teams

I'll be watching on ESPN as I was this morning, UBC. I shouldn,t say who I'm pulling for but yea I can remember hearing that broadcast on radio of Bobby Thompson home run in 51 and I was on the west cost. I went to my first major league game at Seals Stadium with my father to see the Giants 58. Saw many of game at the Stick and froze my arss of and the last time I saw them was in 2003 at their new ball park. What a stadium. So in final.

GO GIANTS!!!!

Yeah, cause your bringing it! We should have Carlsberg by then.

What a stadium.

True. There is not a bad seat house. I could see the twinkle from Bond's earring. Plus I love that they don't let morons walk in front of you in the middle of play. Almost made me want to become a Giants fan. Almost. It was always so disappointing having to go back to the dual-use Coliseum/Oakland slums after an inter-league Bay Bridge series.

Yes, congrats to both teams. The Giants get back to the World Series, after a dramatic loss, down to the bottom of the 9th in the 7th game, to the Yankees in 1962. Gotta love those beards! And the Rangers, after having never won a post-season series, are now in the big show. Amazing when you consider they sold at auction barely 10 months ago. (I'm sure Liverpool fans are hoping for a similar response next year. ) Cliff Lee will get big money as a free agent this winter, so if he decides to stay in Texas you can expect that 55M payroll to balloon by about 20+M.

The first game pitching match-up could be a classic.

I watched the first two games and was amazed at the results. When everyone expected a pitcher's duel between two great young stars it turned into fumble city and a slug fest. Game two started out like game one was expected, but once the Texas starter got a blister on his throwing hand it all went fo a nightmare. The final batting for the Giants was something to behold and it didn't seem to matter what the Texans tried. It might change when they go back to Arlington and maybe the shell shocked Texans will just fall apart.
