Can I get double entry visa from Penang.

Do buses go strait there from Bangkok.

Do not believe they will issue more than one entry and even that may require you have not extended your stay on a previous tourist visa. Bus service is normally to Hat Yai and from there van service or share taxi is normal.

No double entry tourist visas in Penang.

Not even a single entry if you have extended your last tourist visa at immigrations in Thailand.

Bus to Hat yai and then change to Penang.

Train goes to Butterworth (mainland to Penang) from BKK.

I'll be heading to the Thai consulate in Chicago next month for a double tourist visa. I know that tourist visas are exempt from fees thru March 2011. Does this apply to double visas as well? Thanks!

Different Consulates will have different policies .
