October 25, 201015 yr I brought my indoor outdoor thermometer over from Europe 10 years ago but now it has packed up. I miss waking up in the mornings amd glancing at the temperature each day. I have searched high and low in Bangkok but cannot find a replacement. Has anyone ever seen them in the shops here or are Thais just not interested in knowing the temperature? I know I can order online but I'd rather buy one here if possible.
October 25, 201015 yr pobably not enough changes in temperature to warrant wanting to know them.... hot hotter and hottest with major humidity... moving to bangkok forum maybe someone there has more of a clue... bina
October 25, 201015 yr I have one on top of my computer case (33.2oC) with the 'outdoor' sensor inside the case (39.1oC) - Atech, but I can't remember where I bought it; the little hardware/electronics section in Tokyu, MBK (level 4?) comes to mind, but not sure. Cheers, K.

Actually one of the reasons I would like to have one is that we have just insulated the roof of our house. I would often come home to 37 or 38degrees indoors and 33 outdoors. Since insulating we are getting 30 degrees indoors but....... the weather isn't so hot these days so it's difficult to see if the insulation has really helped. You are right about it always being hot, hotter and hottest.

They aren't expensive so what I'll probably do is get one delivered to my friend in England and let him bring it over when he comes here. I thought about having it sent directly to me but there are so many horror stories with the Thai customs. (I myself had to pay a fortune to import my own old books and CD's)
October 31, 201015 yr Forget Tokyu, nothing there today. I didn't check Power Buy as they were holding another staff disco K.
