A friend (good friend) has offered me some work content writing for websites. He is going to pay me 1 British Pound per 100 words.

Do you think he is paying me too much..? Is it fair...?

This is my first time writing for someone elses website and just wanted to know if this was fair as he is just starting his business.

He could get it done cheaper, I have people working on 50-60 US cents per 100 words but your obviously fluent in English and hopefully grammar is good so I wouldnt mind paying 1 quid per 100 if It got me a first rate article. It comes down to how concerned about quality you are to how much you pay.

Ive been reading quite a bit about this tonight and I think its something I'd like to try. Ive been teaching English for about 5 years now and am always on comp, would be nice to make a little sideline too.
