Taxation of worldwide income for Thailand Tax Residents
well so far all we know is that we need to get a Thai tax number if we have assessable income remitted or earned if we are tax residents here and need to file before the end of March 2025. Supposedly new tax forms would be issued by the revenue department this month or next month.Other than that we know nothing else. But if your country has a DTA with Thailand you should be familiar with the contents based on your financial situation. Nothing is very definite here except changes...maybe even a new govt soon. Yes, but that was not what I replied to. My reply was about foreign income not transferred into Thailand being taxed with Thai income tax. -

Abortion - the last electoral dance
Yea, I was paying shy of $4k a year in RE Taxes for a house I already owned. Most school taxes for 20 years, and I never had kids I guess that paid for my free public school education. That alone, US RE taxes (฿10k a month), if half my comfy living expense budget here now. If not all bought in, that ฿10k a month would pay for a nice rental, out of a metro area. ฿15k and can have a 3 bdrm townhouse surfside here, or there was one for rent a while back, but didn't take dogs. BEVs are way more expensive in US, and my solar system, would cost 3X what it cost here. That sh!t starts to add up fast. Buddha forbid if you need to see a doc or have health issues. On topic ... though not entirely endorsed, but abortions are accessible & inexpensive in TH, or so I'm told. -

Bangkok Tightens Grip on Urban Pet Ownership with New Ordinance
A good idea but will it be enforced, and waiting 360 days means there will be 10,000 new animals born. What happens to the dogs that live just outside Bangkok that travel through Bangkok to breed? And if this was done all over Thailand, and immediately, with spay and neuter programs paid for and stepped up by the government, then they would see a change. -
