Tot Adsl & Vonage

Featured Replies

I've seen postings about True, but can anybody verify that Vonage works with TOT?

I've been apartment hunting in the Sukhumvit area, and I'd _really_ like to keep my Vonage service, though most apartment managers are telling me that TOT is my ADSL choice. Would this mean that TOT is the ONLY ADSL choice, or could I sign up with True on my own..?

Does anyone know if Vonage works on TOT ADSL? MY TT&T line is super slow now and I'm thinking about switching to TOT, but I need to keep Vonage. Anyone?

It does work. I just tested it at my friend's house...

Let me ask a basic newbie question.

If I have a Vonage phone and service plan from the US, and it has a US phone number, if I get TOT ADSL, can I both CALL out to any phone number in the US service area (which I think is the US, Canada, Puerto Rico) and RECEIVE calls with callers calling me at the US number (all including with the 25 dollars per month Vonage plan?

Yes Thaiquila,

You can be reached on your American Vonage number whenever and wherever your vonagebox is plugged into the internet (broadband)

The caller wouldn't know you are not in the States.

Your own outgoing calls are billed like you would be in the States as well.(International anyway, I think you get a certain amount of free calls nationwide monthly)
