Windows 7 Display Languages

Featured Replies

What version of Windows 7 allows the display language to be either English or Thai? If I buy "Windows 7 64bit Home Premium Thai" will it have English along with Thai?

You have to download the extra language interface before you can use it. It is listed as GUI if I remember rightly. Windows update site will get you it.

I'm not sure if you can add GUI languages to Home versions (although you can certainly add input and display languages to all versions).

Only Ultimate has the multi-language interface built in :(

So I have to get Ultimate then? That's quite a bit of baht when I need it for three computers. Of course according the link above if I needed say Urdu and English I could use any version. :(

You might look into the Enterprise edition. It does support multiple languages (same as the Ultimate edition) and I believe it can be used on more than one computer. Check with Microsoft as it is not a retail package.

Even though it is unsupported by Microsoft, there is a trick to install MUI language packs on the Home Premium and Professional editions. Do a Google search to learn more.
