Hi There, from Bangkok, I asked because first I wanted to go by Train but I have been told the train is not going there at the moment because of the flood, so I will take the car.

Train service was restored last week. There should not be any major problem on highways either. Believe the only suspect areas are perhaps in the Ubon area which is not on the route north.
