vasan_blr
Anyone know in Bangkok where to get Coconut Oil for cooking? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thais dont use/produce Coconut oil. Past 5 years i havent seen one in the stores. In Pahurak market (Near Old Siam shopping/China Town) you can buy. It is an Indian market sells products from India. While buying carefully check the date produced and expiry date.

Blackandwhite
The oil can but found by boiling the good quality coconut milk gently for about 20 mins, let it cool and pour it off the top of the emulsion that is left
