New Non B Visa'S - Manila

Featured Replies

Hi

I am trying to find out if its possible to apply for a new Non Imm B Visa (employment), 90 days, for European National from Thai Embassy in Manila. I have looked at the Embassy website but its list no information on visa'a or documents required. Wondering if anyone has any recent information of the Embassy in Manila. Do they issue Non B and if so any special documents required other than the standard list.

Thanks in advance.

Manila is not known for being a friendly embassy. If you happen to be there then by all means try you application and report back, but I wouldn't go on a special trip. Many more places that are likely to actually issue a visa.

As said, try but be prepared to travel to a neighbouring country of Thailand first and apply there for the visa, before coming to Thailand.

Apart from the usual company documents, they also require a pre-approved Work Permit a.k.a WP3 to be obtained from the Ministry of Labor. It takes them 2 business days to process the visa.
