I crossed the border and after a brief talk with the immigration officer on the way back into Thailand, my visa superseded the actual extension of of stay. Thank you for tireless efforts and amazing advice. May God/Buddha bless you all.

Good to hear, and the problem is solved.

What confuses me is why the extention of stay was valid less than the original visa, but I guess we'll never find out.

The extension of stay would have been valid until July 19, 2011 according to post 1. But that expired on expiration of work.

His multi entry visa is valid until May 3, 2011.

The extension of stay was valid longer than the one year visa.
