xen
Rented a car last week for 6 days. It was from Budget located near Mikes Shopping Mall and i booked it thru Fast CarHire who i have used numerous times without complaint. It was the cheapest car hire of all the" big" car hir companies but u will no doubt find cheaper in Pattaya with the smaller companys.

PattayaParent
Don't bother with a car in Bangkok, the traffic and parking are a hassle. Just take the bus or a taxi to and from bangkok and use the skytrain and taxi in Bangkkok.
craigt3365
For sure don't rent a car for Bangkok. You can get taxis to take you around much cheaper in BKK than the cost of a rental car...and no worries about parking! Heck, you can hire one for a day for about what you would pay for a rental...then just sit in the back seat and enjoy your beer!
