I don't own anything of any value in Thailand. My most expensive possession (excluding her) is my electric MTB @34kbht, and if she wants it she can have it. Never saw any reason to spend big money while in a country I have no right to live. -

Accident Sedan Overturns on Pattaya Highway: Passengers Escape Serious Injury
Picture courtesy of The Pattaya News Late on June 5, a car crash on Highway 36 in Pattaya resulted in a dramatic but fortunately non-fatal accident, leaving several passengers with only minor injuries. The incident occurred near the intersection with Highway 331, in the Pong subdistrict en route to Sattahip. The Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation’s rescue centre received the emergency call at 8.10pm, prompting rescue teams to rush to the scene. There they discovered a bronze Toyota Altis flipped upside down on the roadside. The driver, identified as 41-year-old Thanamet Hirunpatcharannon, sustained minor abrasions, alongside several other passengers, all of whom were Thai males. Miraculously, none required hospital admission, though they were given first aid on the site by the quick-thinking rescue teams. Thanamet recounted that he was en route to collect friends when his vehicle hit a patch of sand while navigating a curve. This caused the sedan to skid uncontrollably and overturn, landing on its roof. Despite the shock of the crash, all passengers avoided serious injury, managing to emerge from the wreck shaken but largely unharmed. The section of Highway 36 where the accident occurred is notorious for its sharp curves and sometimes slippery conditions due to shifting sand deposits, posing challenges for drivers and increasing the risk of accidents. It's a frequently travelled route by both locals and tourists heading towards Sattahip. In the wake of the accident, the Sawang Boriboon Foundation volunteers efficiently managed the aftermath, allowing those involved to receive necessary first aid on site. After ensuring all individuals were safe and no further medical help was needed, the site was cleared, and normal traffic flow was restored. This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of exercising caution, especially on familiar but tricky stretches of road where unpredictable conditions can quickly change the situation. how much lower can they go, BGBK 1.45% sooner rather then later we will have to pay the banks to keep our money there... the guy said and stimulate consumer lending. how can they stimulate consumer spending if the consumer has no money to spend, devaluate the damn baht, exports will rise and will create jobs, people will have some money and they will spend it and the economy will improve
