Import From Taiwan To Thailand

Featured Replies

Dear fellow members of Thaivisa.

Can anybody give me a qualified answer on the exact import tariffs in Thailand. Or tell me where to post my questions.

I have been through the offical homepage customs.th.go but their examples posts more questions than answers.

The items I want to import is assosiated with bikes and baby strollers. Import from Taiwan to Thailand.

Thanks in advance for your answers.

An important facto will be if you are (going) to live here in Thailand or not.

If you move to Thailand and get a 1 year extension of stay based on work from immigration, you will be allowed to import 1 shipment of household goods duty free.

Motor bikes are something different. Beleive there are sevral threads about that subject in the motor section.

I believe the poster is asking about commercial importation (but could be wrong).

1. Go to http://www.customsclinic.org/index.php?lang=en

2. Click on Tariff Search

3. Click on Search for Import Tariff

If you still have problems, PM me with the items that you want to import.

It understand this has nothing to do with visas, just commercial import, right? I'm sure the mods will move this thread to the appropriate forum.
