Has anyone stayed here recently and if so any complaints? They advertise a double room for B800 w/breakfast. They are located on Thapae Road on soi 3 not far from Thapae Gate.

Isn't that from the same owner as (the cheaper, 180-250b) remarkable Tapae-In hotel ? I guess so. Nice people.

I have a friend who lives there on extended stays of up to 5 months; he's there now.

And I have stayed there once, when I first moved to CM years ago.

I can recommend the hotel.

It is very centrally located, but has little to no traffic noise being just up a soi off Tapae Road.

We stayed there 2 separate years for 4 weeks each the same dried toothpaste was on the bathroom counter all 4 weeks and when we checked out with just an hour to get to the airport they

told us that we had made 3000 baht worth of phone calls that we did not make and all of a sudden no one spoke English. There is a nice guest house behind Montra Hotel called Awana House

that is very very clean and they didn't charge me an additional dime.
