Way To Leave A Message On Found Ipod

I have recently lost an ipod touch and I got a new one to replace it. Is there anyway I can leave a message on the screen to say something like 'please call this number if you find it for a reward' I have already taken precautionary measures to delete all my data if the incorrect password is entered 10 times.

A bit of paper and sticky tape on the back.

I dont think you can set an opening message to show on the screen when you slide the button.only after the correct code is entered.

Re-title a song or folder to your contact details. example: Change "Anything by Britney Spears" to "If found email [email protected] reward offered"

record your own voice message and title it with whatever message you like and if you can see a picture that display the cover of the music albums, you can use any "picture message" you want as a cover, or glue it to your shirt so it's never going to get lost again
