LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) -- "Hold My Hand," the second song on the late Michael Jackson's new album, was released on his official website on early Monday morning.

The song is part of Jackson's new album, entitled simply 'Michael', and will be released on December 14. An unfinished version of the song, a duet with Akon, was leaked online in 2008. Akon recently completed the song.

"The world was not ready to hear 'Hold My Hand' when it leaked a couple years ago/ We were devastated about it," Akon said about the song, which was recorded in 2007. "But its time has definitely come; now in its final state, it has become an incredible, beautiful, anthemic song. I’m so proud to have had the chance to work with Michael, one of my all time idols."

The release of "Hold My Hand" comes a week after Epic Records and the Estate of Michael Jackson released another song which is on the 10-track album. That song, "Breaking News", sparked controversy as some family members said that they did not believe it was Michael Jackson who sang the song.

The other tracks on the album are entitled 'Hollywood Tonight', 'Keep Your Head Up', '(I Like) The Way You Love Me', 'Monster' featuring 50 Cent, 'Best of Joy', '(I Can't Make It) Another Day' featuring Lenny Kravitz, 'Behind The Mask', and 'Much Too Soon'.

Michael Jackson, recognized by the "Guinness World Records" as the most successful entertainer of all time, died on June 25, 2009 at the age of 50. He was found unconscious in bed at his rented mansion in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Coroner ruled his death a homicide, mainly caused by the powerful anaesthetic Propofol which was given to him by Dr. Conrad Murray, Jackson's personal physician. He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and faces a maximum four year state prison term if found guilty.

This just in, my cat has pooped.

I think that event is just as important as a dead junkie's family's attempt to make more money off an abused and mentally ill basket case.

IMO, the prospect of Papa Joe Jackson profiting from this is sickening.
