sbk
My husband is racking his brains for the word for kidney for a cow, apparently different animals have different words. A friend of ours wants to make steak & kidney pies.
RamdomChances
I've allways used "Dap" for kidney so it would be "dap wua" never heard of different ones for different animals so I might be wrong. I'm sure thats what we use when buying. (I make a nice steak'n'kidney pie )

bina
unless alpaca kidneys and goat kidneys are different they are all tai (alpaca) wua, mee or whatever.... (sorrry recently did post mortem on alpaca and got the thai words for all inside parts as the vet pulled them out snipped off bits and stuck them in formaline) its really amazing how much issan workers know so much animal anatomy and how it all works w/o having to check the internet for 'how a ruminants stomachs work' or some such stuff........ bon appetite!!
