wjmark
Just put a 28mm carb on my CBR150, but the mechanic cannot set it up properly. Anyone really good on setting jets etc? Thanks, Mark
bazmlb
There is a small thai shop that does race modifications and the like on 121 highway in San Sai, about 100 meters from the corner where the Tesco minimart is, they may be able to help you. wjmark
Thanks for that. Anybody else? Any really good carburetor tuner-uppers around? Or a Dyno? Anybody? Thanks, Mark
KRS1
use the same jet sizes that came with your stock carb as a starting point. (not interchangeable) The jets that come with the 28mm are for the 2 stroke NSR 150, those jets are much too big. and adjust the airscrew and idle. Bung
Google is your friend and you will most likely find all the information you need and more to do it yourself along with the satisfaction that that will give you. The Thai mechanics will only just get it running ok then give it back to you with no real idea of what they did. If you do it yourself you will always have a good idea of what to do if it needs a little adjustment or just a strip down and clean. Have fun. Forget a dyno.
