Is This A Good Deal?
His post said it is nearly $10,000 for new batteries, not $100,000 as you typed. That $10,000 is for the most expensive batteries. OK so let's compare more mainstream ICE replacement engines Rank Car Brand Engine Replacement Cost 1 Ford $8,000 - $15,000 2 Cadillac $6,000 - $12,000 3 BMW $5,000 - $10,000 4 Mercedes-Benz $5,000 - $10,000 They seem to fairly identical to new batteries wouldn't you say? I ridiculed his post for 2 reasons, first that a battery or any device would fail the year after the warranty, and secondly to draw attention to the nonsense price of a new battery when EV batteries are expected to last the same or longer than an ICE and cost the same. -

Who's Gonna Win The Tyson Fight?
Yes, it's been said that if Paul beats a 58 year old that it looks like he beat up an old man. And if Paul loses to a 58 year old then he lost to an old man. So either way he loses. -

The Guardian Steps Back from Elon Musk’s Platform X Amid Content Concerns
Got that hard news for libs. Right leaning are, which leftists call also call right wing as part of the fearmongering. The Wall Street Journal is mentioned in your linked reference. I doubt you know which way all the others lean. The Guardian isn't exactly far left, so far as I know. Far left "newspapers" like The Morning Star or The News Line or also have poor circulation and even depend on donations to stay alive. I suspect The Guardian feels that the negative readers' responses and the fact checking in Community Notes, now that X has free speech, did more harm than good by exposing their "news" as leftist nonsense. Such exposure by alternative right-leaning media, including mainstream FOX, is responsible for the misfortunes of CNN and MSNBC, now laying off staff, including, supposedly, some of the higher profile contributors.
