Hi All

Here I am again panicking about yet another visa application!

My fiancee and I are preparing to get married in the UK and we applied for a Marriage visit visa last Wednesday and we have already recieved an SMS today(tuesday)from the embassy to say the documents are ready to pick up .....does this seem like a very fast processing time to you??? Is that a bad sign or good?? My fiancee has been to the uk before on a tourist visa and we have a son together.

Thanks again

As long as your future wifes back ground is solid. No dodgy stuff. Then i would say 99 % you have got your visa. Good luck in the Future and enjoy life away from Thailand.

Processing times are no indication of the result; it takes just as long to process a refusal as it does an acceptance. Longer maybe as the refusal notice has to be typed out!

Thanks for your replies guys, we will know for sure when she picks up her passport on Saturday.

Hope you get the right answer

The wait times seem to have come down to 5 weeks for a S/V.

I hope so too. Do you think the reduced waiting times are anything to do with the application limt for tier 1 general visit visas has been reached for November?
