November 23, 201015 yr Hi All Here I am again panicking about yet another visa application! My fiancee and I are preparing to get married in the UK and we applied for a Marriage visit visa last Wednesday and we have already recieved an SMS today(tuesday)from the embassy to say the documents are ready to pick up .....does this seem like a very fast processing time to you??? Is that a bad sign or good?? My fiancee has been to the uk before on a tourist visa and we have a son together. Thanks again S Edited November 23, 201015 yr by S4161
November 23, 201015 yr As long as your future wifes back ground is solid. No dodgy stuff. Then i would say 99 % you have got your visa. Good luck in the Future and enjoy life away from Thailand.
November 23, 201015 yr Wow...that's really quick. Hope you get good news, my gf is submitting hers this week. RAZZ
November 23, 201015 yr Processing times are no indication of the result; it takes just as long to process a refusal as it does an acceptance. Longer maybe as the refusal notice has to be typed out!
November 24, 201015 yr Visit Visa applications are around 5 days. Settlement applications are around 8 weeks at the moment.
