Best Bang4Baht Netbook

prices seem to be dropping on netbooks all over and I now see lots under 10kthb......but wondering which brand/model is best in terms of features, reliability, speed, warantee, local service and upgradability.

I've had an Asus Eee PC for a couple of years now as my little backup machine & I've been well impressed with it. It's the 1000h model and I would guess it's around 10k these days (I think it was about 11,500 when I got it a couple of years back. Saying that, I doubt they're still offering the same model, but if you can find an Eee PC for around 10k, then you can't really go wrong. I've also had great after sales care at their service centre on the underground floor in Fortune. Have even had work there done for free a year out of warranty. Can't say much fairer than that.

It's only missed a beat once, but that turned out to be a weird software conflict and not anything to do with the Asus. I've even dropped it and whereas it didn't quite bounce back, it wasn't daunted to get back to work.
