i received a strange email,the other day:

Pattaya Property Newsletter - Rent, Buy or Sell.

High Season Preview.

Welcome to Pattaya!

This high season should be a lot of fun. Pattaya has

so many new shopping venues, new restaurants and

it is so easy to get here now with the new expressway

open.

There are many new condo project in Pattaya

and the surrounding areas that have just been

complete. There are excellent deals to be had

for both rentals and purchases."

it links me to an unsecure site....

hopefully it's not another successful scam, again.

cheers.

It can only have been a successful scam if they cheated you out of money for something you did not recieve?

I think it is more like "spam", providing a link to a website (albeit of a long since defunct company), unless of course they have re-opened under new management, anybody know?

Ok maybe its more appropriate to use the words " potential scam " B)

and surely it is better to be aware of this potential before they

cheat you out money than afterwards in which case you would have no

chance of recouping any losses ?

Just to inform those who do not know.

Following reports here "Fair Properties" that members were having problems getting money owed then they closed there offices a VT1, and as far as I know basically did a runner.

Their office has now been cleaned out and looks ready to be re-let.
