Some Visa Help - Longer Then 6 Months ...

Featured Replies

I went to thailand from june to sept this year on a standard tourist visa (i did just 1 entry) and did my extension after 60 days, I'm going back on the 6th December and I plan on staying maybe 10months? What excatally do I do? I've heard the max you can stay is 6 months? I don't really understand the number of entrys business either, my visa says up to 3 but I've been told you can only have 2 and can only stay 6 months and you go to Rayong or Laos after 3months. You can't do this every 3months?

I'm a UK National (21 Y/O) and this is the visa form I was going to fill out - http://www.thaiembas...sa_standard.pdf

And of course student visa's are an option after 6 months? Don't fancy paying 25k baht yet though and have to go to bangkok every week.

Apply for a Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa from the Thai Consulate in Hull.

This will give you up to 15 months but would need a border run every 90 days.

Apply by post. Hull Consulate

I never understood the confusion about the 6 months business, that never had anything to do with entering on any type of visa, that only applied to "visa exempt" entries, and that law was changed 2 years ago.

Either apply for a triple entry Tourist Visa, each entry for 60 days, and extendable by 30 days, or apply for a 1 year multi-entry Non-immigrant "O" Visa at Hull for the purpose of visiting friends if you don't have some other ties to Thailand.

It takes less than a week . By all reports here around 2 or 3 days.

How would I qualify, from what i'm seeing you have to be marryed or retired ...

Which form is it on that page? Is it sill free? And what documents do I need to post?

Visa Form, Passport, 2 pictures? My flight is also set to return on 3rd Feb but I was going to change when I got out there, does that matter?

Thanks.

Reason to visit friends. Cost £100.

Ouch, it's guranteed? Could I get it while I was out there or have to be this country? Because if it gets declined I will have no time to get a standard visa ...

What documents would I hae to submit?
