Extend A Non-Imm O-A Retirement Visa For An American

Featured Replies

Can I go to get the extension (using the bank balance method) a week before my current expiration date? 2 weeks? Only a day or so?

What is the 'rule'? I'd LIKE to get it done as soon as possible.

This will be my second extension.

That's ALL I am asking. Not asking how to do it.

Thank you,

jbeck

To extend your permision to stay you can do it anytime within the final 30 days.

It is always good to do it early.

wow - I'll give it a try, great news.

And the good news is that doing it early won't cost you any days. A new extension always starts on the date the current extension ends.

Advice is always to do it early, to have time in case you are missing some documents etc.

Thanks. I already said I want to do it early in the original post.

At Jomtien, TWO months early is welcome, with no excuse needed.
