Does anybody know of a US bank that will let me open an account from here in Thailand.

My primary need for it is to deposit small value US$ cheques that my Thai bank (Kasikorn) won't cash as their limit is $200.

I've been thinking about opening an Everbank or Bank of the Ineternet account for this sort of reason - actually I want to cancel my Bank of America account because of some of their policies.

I'm interested in folks' experience with these banks, assuming accounts can be opened from Thailand. I think they can be - or at least you may be able to do so from here is you have a US address, etc.
