ChAoS87
I was wondering if dish (food accompanying rice) is called กับข้าว . Then is mixers(drinks that is use to blend with hard liquor/alcohol like soda, pepsi, plain water) called 'gap lao' ? I couldn't find any word that is related to 'mixers'. So that is my rough guess of the word. Thanks alot~!
Peppy
The Thai word for "mixer" is มิกเซอร์ (mik-ser). กับเหล้า should get a good laugh from your Thai friends if you explain the logic behind it. It does make sense...
bhoydy
With that logic of a mixer surely it should be ราดเหล้า
a51mas
With that logic of a mixer surely it should be ราดเหล้า in Thai: mixed drink = เหล้าผสมเครื่องดื่ม
Peppy
With that logic of a mixer surely it should be ราดเหล้า Another leap of logic: if male servers in bars and restaurants are known as บ๋อย, what should their female counterparts be called? Why, เกิ๋ร์ล, of course.
kriswillems
As we are doing funny logic, why not call a mixer หางขนไก่ .... Edited December 17, 2010 by kriswillems

Instead of ต้องถอน you could try ขนหมา for a hangover cure.
