Simple Question

A friend didn't apply for a Thai visa in the US as she only planned to stay here for 3 weeks. She now wants to stay longer than the 30 days granted at airport immigration. Can she pay to stay longer - if so what's the price and how long can she extend by - or will she need to leave and re-enter the country?

Thanks

Border run, couple of thousand baht and a few hrs, she will then have another 15days.

Can be extended for 7 days, 1900 Baht and may need to show an outbound ticket.

As Spoonman says, can do a border run and receive a 15 day stay if entering by land, and another 30 days if return by air.

If want to stay longer than the 7 by extension 15 by land or 30 by air will need to get a tourist visa from neighboring country, Tourist Visa are FREE at the moment.
