Tourist Visa Frankfurt/Main Germany

Featured Replies

I will be in Frankfurt/Main and would like to apply for a double entry Tourist Visa at the Thai Consulate.

Their website doesnt list any kind of requirements so im not sure what they will need from me.

Has anyone applied for a visa their recently?

Are tourist visas 100% free or is there some kind of fee?

Are you German? It seems that most offices there will not issue to others from some recent reports. Have not seen any reports of that office that I recall.

I don't think it matters where you apply. I'm a Brit, but I obtained my double entry Tourist Visa via the Thai Consulate in Amsterdam. It's free until the end of this year I believe, but after that, it will revert to the normal fee which is 1,900 Baht. I didn't ask for the double entry flavour, but they gave me one just the same.

The normal charge for a tourist visa is 1,000 baht in local currency. And all are free at least until the end of March 2011.

Sorry, typo. Should have been 1,000 Baht, not 1,900.
