December 12, 201015 yr I would like to buy some shoes this month. I want a good reliable pair of shoes that can be used to exercise, play badminton etc. Most pairs that I see in Central World etc. run anywhere from 2500 to 4000 baht. I assume if you buy shoes cheaper than this that they will not last very long. Has anyone found a good pair of shoes for under 2000 baht. If so where and what kind? Thanks a bunch.
December 12, 201015 yr Ground floor of Silom Complex, on the left side as you walk in. No sign in English, but it is called "Nantana", or something like that. Silom Complex is on the south side of Silom Road at Saladaeng BTS Station.
December 13, 201015 yr Most of the big sports shops sell old styles for less that that. I have found that if you ask the staff, they either do not know or will pretend not too. You have to search for the cheap ones yourself.
December 13, 201015 yr go to the FBT building just beside Ramkhamphueng soi 65. there are lots of shoes on sale there, for example: Nike, Adidas, Reebok,... etc. most of the shoes there are 10-20% cheaper than the ones at the major shopping malls. they also have shoes on sales which are like 50-70% cheaper. i bought my soccer boots, running shoes, gym shoes, etc... there. quite a few of the staffs there can speak some english as the Building is opposite the Ramkhamphueng University just opposite.
December 13, 201015 yr A related question: anyone know where I can find BIG sized shoes? I'm a 13 US (I think that's a 12 UK), usually a 47 or 47 European. Even back home it's not always easy finding shoes that fit, and it's pretty much a nightmare here. Any ideas?
