Used Mountainbike Importing In Thailand

Featured Replies

hi , i am wondering about bringing my own mtb in to thailand next time(october) , and leave it somewhere safe(C-R) for the next visit

i think normally what u bring in the country must go out also ,

so what can i expect to pay for taxes for a used but technically good mtb

( i don ' t trust it really if the rental shops have my size(xl) or the quality stands up to my ' eddy merckx ' powered legs )

tnx for all usefull info

ps : do trains take bikes as luggage ?

Howmany are you bringing in ??? I think if you only take 1 , it is not a problem ... same like diving gear . If you really want to import , i guess you have to pay importtaxes , because they know it is for selling the goods . So take 1 , sell it and go back home , no problem ... just ask it when you make a reservation on the plane that you bring a bike .

I brought my mountain bike here from Singapore, and have taken it abroad twice since. Never had a problem.
