When you arrive in the BKK airport at the bagage claim area you will find 3 currency exchange manchines. feed your money to it and you will have the best exchange rate in LOS.

Looking at the topic title, isn't the OP asking about changing Thai Baht TO US $ - not the other way round?

Yes...but the spread in LOS still makes the Exchange rate best

I think he is trying to exchange Thai baht to US dollars before going back. I suggested he do it before he leaves as if he tries to do it in the US, it will cost him big as the banks there don't want to have the trouble of the handling of this money. It's just a pain in the butt for them and they will charge you for their trouble.
