Organic Food And Milk Powder And Travelling To Los

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

We are bringing our 15 month old boy for a two and a half month trip to Thailand. Up until now he has only eaten organic food and Hipp Organic baby milk and I want to keep this up while we are travelling if possible. We will be traveling in Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chiang Mai and Krabi.

Does anyone have any advice on buying organic food and baby milk in these areas? I know for example The Queen Mother's Project in Chiang Mai which is good and Topps do some organic food, but some people on Thai visa have reservations about how organic the food actually is.

Likewise, organic baby milk, or at least unsweetened baby milk?

Also do any of the taxi services from Suvharnabhumi have car seats? And if we are going to buy a car seat in Bangkok where would be the best place?

Thanks

Vicky

Car seats can be found at big department stores like central, paragon, emporium etc. Check out bambi.org classifieds for 2nd ones. To my knowledge taxis from airport don't have baby seats. Organic products, try tops and the above stores.

Like James above said, yes you can buy organic veg here but is it really organic? Who knows.

I've never seen organic formula here and doubt you can find any with no sugar.

As for carseat, it is way cheaper to get in your home country and more likely to meet all safety regulations. Also, what good is a carseat for taxis if none of them have seatbelts?

Some of them actually do :). About 1 in 5, I think.
