Need Irs Acceptable Place To Give Donations In Thailand

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'd like to donate a pretty large amount of recording and musical equipment to a qualified charity (i.e. recognized and accepted by the US IRS). It is too much of a hassle to sell, and I thought some school kids or someone could use it. Some of it is pretty good stuff, not junk, but very classic gear. There are also some good books in English.

I searched a long time on Google - and it isn't the kind of thing that springs out at you.

If any Americans know about this subject, and have any solutions, please let me know. It would be helpful if I could contact these places (if any exist) before Dec.31, it would be most helpful. But it would be helpful after the new year as well.

Thanks,

Another alternative (why not give to both!) is the PDA run by Khun Meechai - yes, Mr Condom. As with Father Joe he is pragmatic, effective and eithical.

Their link for the US entity is ttp://www.pdi-global.org/how2donate.asp
