David Charles Taylor, 66, fled to Thailand in 1998 after British authorities found tens of thousands of pornographic pictures of children on his computer. Thai police, who made the arrest early Monday in Nakhon Ratchasima, 260 kilometres (160 miles) northeast of Bangkok, suspect he continued to abuse boys when he arrived in the kingdom. "He sent back footage to the UK and his conspirators there created DVDs and sold them over the Internet," immigration police officer Colonel Wiwat Khamchamnan said. Taylor is wanted in Britain on suspicion of molesting boys and girls aged between 18 months and 12 years old, then selling pictures and video of the attacks online, Thai police said. He was originally arrested in Leicestershire county, in central England and charged with 35 counts of child molestation and dissemination of child pornography, police said, but escaped to Thailand during the investigation. The British embassy in Bangkok confirmed it had contacted immigration police about the case and the Thai criminal court issued an arrest warrant on December 3. The british could throw the Thai govt a few hundred baht each year to house this disgusting grub. I mean if the Thai police suspect he continued to abuse whilst here, whats going on with that? Nasty, digusting events and too often, reported people like this seem to gravitate this way to LOS and SEAsia....go figure. Oh that's far too logical for most authorities! Please note: The following comment only applied if this person is actually found to be guilty. If Thai investigators do a little bit of creative investigating, perhaps they would find out he has sadly infected some of his young innocent victims with HIV (he would need to be found to be positive) then perhaps he could be tried for pre meditated murder, then if found guilty would receive the death sentence here and not before he gets plenty of abuse from other inmates who generally find this kind of crime very disgusting. And I don't believe that UK Authorities weren't able to track this beast, he continued sending porn material to his inmates in UK's prosperous market where they've been selling to rich people. For example, I assumed that the pictures taken of us all by immigration at checkpoints were part of an elaboratecomputerised data base so why can't they have some kind of data entry which immediately warns the immigration office of the status of people like this ? Why cant they be placed on some kind of " no fly " list ? I dont see there is any excuse these days for people to be still be able to abscond to Thailand and continue to live under the radar for so many years. I reckon the best way to deal with this guy is go through the courts here and if guilty a hefty time in the monkey house and then proceed with the extradition where hopefully he will get a few more years, and going by his age hopefully he will spend the rest of his days off the streets, of course I could suggest things much more severe but its not allowed on this forum but I guess most of you will know what I mean. You think this guy needs compassion- well what would you do if you caught him red handed -fondling your 2 year old son-and taking photo.s.=== 1, suggest he should see someone .2 tell him he,s naughty and not to do that. 3. buy him some viagra........................Yes he needs help-sharp shock treatment, something thats so bad he would never think of going near a minor again.
