VocalNeal Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Just stumbled on the difference between JASCO MA and MB for (motorcycle) oils. JASO designates two different four-stroke oil classifications: MA and MB. The MB oil is low friction and the MA is sans the friction enhancers. PCX manual recommends MB because PCX can use the friction modifiers while a bike with a wet clutch cannot. If you have a twist and go scooter look for MB instead of the more common MA. As an example all Castrol Motorbike oils on Thai website are rated MA but elsewhere they have ACT<EVO X-Tra which is MB. Maybe it is here but.....
