My non-imm B visa runs out in January about 2 weeks before I can get a flight home.

Are the lovely immigration people at Don Muang still accepting 200B a day overstay, or in light of recent tightening of laws, will they prefer to nick me?

Also is it possible to extend the visa for a couple more weeks for the bargain price of 1900B?

Thanks

Yep, they're still accepting your money when u overstay...

However i would seriously consider getting an extension at the immigration boys, you'll probably get 15 days for your 1900 Baht with another 15 for free if you visit them again when the first 15 days are gone.

It's simply not worth the risk running around while in overstay, a simple road side check might land in jail and that problem is NOT easily solved (nor cheap)

15 days @ 200 baht per day would cost you more than that. Your safest option is to get the proper extension, coz if they catch you in overstay, you will get banged up, and declared persona non grata.
