PHOENIX, ARIZONA (BNO NEWS) -- A shooting at a strip club in Phoenix, Arizona left two people dead and two others injured, police said. A man has been arrested.

The shooting happened at the Great Alaskan Bush Company near 29th and Grand Avenues in Phoenix. Police said a 28-year-old man walked into the strip club and left, but eventually returned armed with a revolver at around 11.30 p.m. local time.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Tommy Thompson confirmed the gunman opened fire on people waiting in line at the door of the strip club, but ran out of ammunition after shooting four people. He said there was no known motive for the shooting.

The gunman killed the bouncer, 34-year-old Adam Troy Cooley 20-year-old patron Antonio Garcia. In addition, the man shot two other patrons, a 22-year-old man and a woman, who were not identified. The male victim is reported to be in a critical condition but is expected to survive despite his severe injuries.

After the gunman ran out of ammunition, people from inside the club wrestled him to the ground and held him until police officers arrived at the scene. He was taken into custody, is being interviewed and will likely faces homicide charges.
