Se Asian Apartments

im heading to KL first, i know about where i can get an apartment. what im curious about though is i plan on spending alot of time in SE asia this year and ill basically be staying in apartments the whole time cause i cant afford hotels for months and months

i need to know what they require, i only planned on brining my drivers license(im american) my passport and my credit cards but id rather not pay for anything electronically

if i need more like my birth certificate or ss card for whatever reason or anything else id like to know
