LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) -- Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon has been confirmed to be engaged with Hollywood agent Jim Toth, her representative said on Tuesday.

Witherspoon, 34, and Toth, 40, have been dating for about a year as the couple went public earlier in the year after they were seen together in March. "They are extremely happy," Witherspoon's representative told US Weekly.

Toth works as an agent at L.A.'s Creative Artists Agency, which represents a number of actors and athletes. Witherspoon is client of the agency herself, but Toth does not represent her.

This would mark Witherspoon's second marriage after seven years with fellow actor Ryan Phillipe. However, the couple, which have two children together divorced in 2008.

In 2001, Witherspoon starred in 'Legally Blond' which brought her nationwide attention and won several award, including an Academy Award for her role of June Carter Cash in 2005's biographical movie of Johnny Cash 'Walk the Line.'
