I’m nearing the end of the 3rd 90 day cycle on my 12 Month Non Imm ‘O’ visa which expires in April. Rather than doing it then I’ve been told can do the 12 month ‘OA’ extension now and not bother with the visa run which is due. I'm willing to sacrifice the last cycle.

I need confirmation the extension can be done at the end of any current visa stamp providing the criteria can be met eg. Financial etc.

Is this the case?

Thank you.

It is a one year extension of stay for retirement reasons and is not OA. You can do it during the last 30 days of any permitted to stay and if you meet the financial conditions it should be immediate or next day stamp.

Extremely quick reply, thank you Lop. Sorry for the confusion, yes Retirement extension. Off to the new Udon Thani office Thursday.
