My wife (Thai) will have to in the near future travel to Germany & possible other European countries for work issues!

She is a Buyer for a company in England with head office in Germany

As she still has a Thai passport & still on FLR (M) would there be an issue, or would it be a straight forward (Shengen) application ??

I understand it will be her company that applies etc

I am no expert in Schengen visas, but I think one would allow her to travel around the Schengen area for business purposes, but not take up permanent employment in a Schengen state. As far as I'm aware, as she is applying in the UK and only has FLR this would need to be valid for the length of her stay in the Schengen area plus three months.

As her employer is sending her on this trip they will, as you say, presumably be arranging the necessary visa(s) and know the requirements.
