I have some friends,who want to take a boat ride,from Chiang Saen to Chiangrai-eny one who knows, what kind of time this takes.???

I have not heard of this type of service being available. There is a run of river dam on the Kok river east of the bridge beside Tessaban 6 school which obstructs long tail boat traffic. Furthermore, land trasnport between Chiang Saen and Chiang Rai is much cheaper.

I have heard of it-but not from those places-and I send the Trip Advisors guide a mail-he also heard -but not from Chiang Saen to Chiangrai.

I've personally never heard of any commercial or passenger boats going east of Chiang Rai to the Mekong.

I'd certainly be interested to hear about any.

Not possible by boat .
