Ing "Electric" Online Checking Acct.

Featured Replies

Anyone with one of these ING paperless internet checking accounts can share their experiences? Seems they are pretty good deal for someone who needs a minimum if banking services. For me, mainly a safe place to keep my running expenses money and accessible via account's ATM card, which is also a Visa or Mastercard network debit card for purchases.

A minimum of account fees and even a bit (tiny bit) on account funds. Of course, usual foreign ATM and purchase surcharges apply but BK more onerous than most other banks. (I am aware of Charles Schwab Bank products so no one has to mention them.) Just interested in experiences with the ING account.

Never had any problems

Any experience with their Sharebuilder brokerage services?

Any experience with their Sharebuilder brokerage services?

Can't say i have.

I closed my account over a year ago after being hit with too many unexpected fees, like "inactive account fees" when I didn't use my account for 3 months. All my fault as I didn't read all the rules. Plenty of other fees too. As other accounts suit my int'l banking needs better, I saw no reason to keep the ING account.
