I would like to get some covers made for my sofa/couch.

I'm guessing I would need someone to come around and measure them then make them up.

Does anyone know of any place in Bangkok that would do this or any other suggestions on ways to get this done?

There's a bunch of furniture shops up nearby Sukhumvit soi 47 way or there abouts. A mate of mine had an armchair made from one of the shops.

He came in a truck and collected the chair to be copied, took it away and measured it all up then returned it the next day. He came back a couple of weeks later with a copy of the original !

I don't actually need the furniture made - just a cloth to go over it!

Found this thread.... I'm going bonkers trying to find a freaking decent sofa. I've checked out the Mobella/Pimpen/Westminster website and I found some decent-looking stuff in there (from what I see on the website). Who,me?, how is the quality? I think I'm going to go to the showroom in Langsuan this weekend, but I just wanted to know what you thought if you had the experience. They said they will be at TIFF later on this month, 25% discounts/etc.

ukrules, do you know the name of the guy/company that copied your friend's sofa? I have a great sofa at another place that would be perfect if somebody could do a good job copying it - so you're saying the guy came over and picked up the sofa, went to measure it up, and then returned it? Any idea/ballpark of prices? Good quality?

Any other ideas/places with good sofas? I need an L-shaped/corner-sofa... maybe 3.5metres x 2.5metres... Been around the ''regular'' stores and they just don't seem to have anything that looks good....

As they are a furniture shop / furniture maker they will also stock and sell the various components required by furniture including the cloth, etc. Not just retail furniture.
